Empower Her with Education, and She’ll Empower the World
One App,
Many Uses
I come from Leepa Valley, a village in Pakistan where societal norms often limit girls’ access to education. From a young age, I faced these challenges, yet I was fortunate to have supportive parents who encouraged me to pursue my dreams despite resistance from society. Their unwavering belief in my potential gave me the courage to continue my education and follow my passion for social service.
After completing my degree at the University of Azad Jammu & Kashmir, I immersed myself in social work, joining organizations such as PRCS, the Human Rights Committee, KUF, the Noble Foundation, and ultimately founding my own initiative, Rising Blood Society. Alongside these endeavors, I have received training in first aid, emergency response, and public speaking. As a debater, article writer, and professional teacher, I have been recognized in my community for both my dedication and impact.
My journey has not been without challenges. Some family members and community voices insisted that girls should prioritize marriage over education. Yet, my parents remained steadfast, protecting my aspirations and guiding me through every obstacle. Their trust has been the foundation of my perseverance and success.

Today, I feel immense gratitude for the opportunities I have received, including being part of the UPG platform. UPG has allowed me to connect with like-minded changemakers, gain confidence, and expand my vision of what social impact can achieve. It has reinforced my belief that empowering women through education is one of the most powerful ways to strengthen communities and build a more equitable world.
Success has never been instant. It is the product of dedication, hard work, and resilience. From participating in COP28 to enhancing my skills through English courses, emergency response training, and first aid workshops, each experience has shaped me into a confident speaker, educator, and advocate. As a teacher, I have inspired and guided students, and through Rising Blood Society and other initiatives, I have been able to create meaningful change in my community.
My story is a testament to the power of education, parental support, and relentless perseverance. It reflects my belief that when we empower one girl with knowledge and confidence, she carries the potential to uplift countless others. I am humbled to share this journey, hoping it inspires others to overcome obstacles, embrace their potential, and contribute positively to society.
